Assessing client efficiency

We’ve gone through 10 posts describing how you upscale a client into Financial Management services, creating a firm foundation from which the business will develop and grow, with you as the ‘Trusted Advisor / FD’.


And because that enabled you to create and review the management accounts, these revealed below budget sales caused by ineffective Marketing, followed by below par Operations for which you introduced Runagood® Methods to increase new and repeat business.

So, while you and your client worked on those, we looked at another issue, revealed by the management accounts. The business is inefficient and losing profits through a lack of Business Systems. Something else flagged in the original Business Dashboard® Report and it’s now time to deal with it.

Start with S01 ‘Analyse Technology Effectiveness’ because that assesses all the systems (or lack of them) that govern the efficiency with which a business operates and the generation of data that makes it easy to manage.

Get your client to fill in the spreadsheet template. It’s too big to show here but if you’d like the template, please ask. It’s a comprehensive assessment of every process throughout the business which will enable you to spot any disconnects and lack of integration.

So, in the next post I’ll discuss the conclusions and start building the improvement plan.
