What is Business Advice?

Step 1 of ‘How To Sell Business Management Services to Your Clients’

Dear Accountant,

First, understand the difference between ‘Business Advisory’ and ‘Business Solutions’

A Business Advisory Practitioner highlights ‘issues to look at’.
- Nice graphs and tables to ‘discuss’ and hopes the client will work out the actions.

A Business Solutions Expert identifies the cause of a client’s problem or frustrated ambition.
- Takes action, works with the client until the problem is fixed or ambition satisfied. That will be you…

Clients expect advice to be free. So, expect to give it to them, but keep it general.

Clients expect to pay for Action. Therefore, keep asking smart questions until your action is requested… then you can be specific and charge them.

Find out how to do that in this brief video.
