Step 8 clarifying line managers new roles

In my last post I showed how budgets are agreed that give line managers responsibility for income and authority for expense in pursuit of their delegated objectives.  
 
Now to ensure they have a proper understanding of what is expected of them.   

The job description sets out the contract that they agree with the boss and is wholly clear.
 
In my next post I’ll look at how line managers are developed for their new roles.
