Understanding your client's personal goals

(See last post). However smart your proposed business strategy may be it will come to grief if not compatible with your client’s personal goals. And often the Client doesn’t know these themselves until you put this simple questionnaire in front of them.  

So once you’ve talked through the Business Dashboard® and outlined strategies for the business get them to complete it.

Then modify the proposed business strategy in the light of these answers e.g.: 

  • Early Exit – start with profit building

  • Growth – start with marketing

  • Life/work balance – start with systems development

  • Personal Effectiveness – start with people development

  • Diversification – start with operations security
