You’re helping your client to get the plan moving that you’ve created together. The review sessions are enthusiastic, but things don’t seem to be happening much.
Is something wrong or is this normal?
What you do next will determine whether the plan will ever turn into useful action. And mostly, they don’t, which is why consultants typically opt out at that point. But you’re the accountant with an ongoing relationship to maintain, so that’s not an option.
