In my last post we had already opened a People plan aimed at raising commitment and productivity and examined the Methods to choose from. There are 12 arranged in priority sequence and chosen according to the circumstances in the business.
For the better managed clients, it is usual to start with P05 ‘Introduce Workforce Performance Management’ so let’s take a look…
It’s got 7 detailed Action Plans and here we see small previews of the first 4. The trick with this Method is to link the Business Plan to individual responsibilities so that everyone is tasked with achieving outcomes that collectively make the business achieve its goals.
In my next post I’ll show how a job description is not ‘the document of death’ but a simple instrument of control that fits on one sheet of paper.
